Yassi Moghaddam, MBA, MSEE

Yassi’s clients include  high-tech  startups, large enterprises, and venture capital firms.  She typically supports C-levels, VPs, and Directors  in either an interim executive role in  Strategy, Business Development, and Marketing and/or  provides consulting and advise in strategic and product marketing, product management, business development,  entrepreneurial ventures, and investment due  diligence.  She has worked with companies across the globe including North America, Europe, and Asia.   Her  areas of focus are telecommunication and  social media, and mobile computing.

Yassi brings to her clients more than twenty years of high-tech business and operations leadership experience in diverse disciplines across the entire telecom vertical, from services to infrastructure to subsystems and components. In her career, she has held diverse senior positions in General Management, Marketing, Business Development, Product Management, and Product Development in Fortune 500 companies and successful startups.  Before founding Stradanet, Yassi was the Vice President of Marketing and Sales at ASIP Inc. (Apogee Photonics), a Venture Capital backed company,  where she led the  marketing, sales, and product strategy efforts, and her work was instrumental in closing of  greater than $20 million series B funding, and growing ASIP from a  Princeton University incubator to a several million dollar operation,  before it was acquired by Cyopitcs in 2007.    Before that, as the Director of Marketing Alliances, Yassi led Avic Systems’s business development efforts  pre and post comapny’s  successful IPO.  Before Avici, she held several senior management positions in Lucent Technologies, Optical Networking Group (ONG) leading product management, business development and product certification of a number of Lucent’s optical Networking flagship products.  Yassi began her telecommunication career in AT&T Bell Laboratories in product certification, and before then, her high-tech career in software development.

Yassi’s experience as a successful corporate executive, an entrepreneur, and an independent strategy consultant coupled with her deep knowledge of the fast changing telecommunication market, all make her an ideal partner and collaborator for high-tech business leaders.

Yassi is on the Advisory Board of Santa Clara University MBA Global Women Leadership Network,  a member of GLG Council of Experts, and an International Coaching Federation certified business coach.  She holds an MBA from Columbia University, an MSEE from Georgia Institute of Technology, a BSEE from University of Oklahoma.
